do as ceyfer said to remove the virus using KVP.

KVP is not a replacement to AV. So after that install any good AV like
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 or Norton 360 v2.

although Kaspersky Internet Security is better than Norton 360 because norton is heavier on resources, i find norton to be the virus that removes viruses

For a free antivirus, I would suggest Avira Antivirus, then get a good anti-spyware, such as Spybot - Search & Destroy, or Ad-Aware 2008.

Ad-Aware isn't virus protection it's just a malware protection and Spybot - Search & Destroy is just for spyware

Why many people recommend using Spybot - Search & Destroy, or Ad-Aware 2008 only. Is there any anti-spyware (freeware) program better than those two?

What about AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 Free Edition?

AVG Antispyware is good because it is originally from ewido. Many expert spyware cleaners used to recommend ewido.

    Soon Grisoft discontinued AVG antispyware.

    It's written in there website.
    ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Code:
AVG Anti-Spyware and AVG Anti-Rootkit are no longer available.

    Important notice.

As AVG Anti-Spyware and AVG Anti-Rootkit are now only included in commercial versions of AVG 8.0. Updates will soon be discontinued.
