    i have been having problems removing vmhr.bat...kaspersky antivirus 2009 keeps pooping it up..i have used hijackthis to remove kavo.exe but i really cant find vmhr.bat...its probably in stealth mode..pls raymond..how do i remove it..

    Kaspersky should be able to remove it - kavo.exe is very common. so any AV will be able to remove it.

    try turnig of system restore and delete the file using kis or kav. if it does not go start with saft mode and delete the file then use somesoftware to delete all the file traces. try using autorun.

    I came across this virus (Trojan) before and tested with many anti-virus programs but finally AVG Anti-Virus Prof do all the cleaning jobs.

    You need to do few time scanning after each reboot, hope this will help.
