    Recycler and System Volume folder

Hello guys! My computer has a drive C and D, D as my backup, I found out that there are 2 hidden folders named Recycler and System Volume Information. I tried to delete both of them but failed to do so. I also tried to boot on Safe Mode but I can't find them even I chose to view hidden files. Does anybody know what virus is this? Also, my C drive has the same kind of folder. I run my KAV8 but it seems not detecting it as a virus. Is it really a virus or what? How can I remove it if it is a virus? Thanks!

Recycler is your Recycle bin, and System Volume Information is the place where your computer stores restore points. These are not viruses they are system folders.

So how did you back up your files? Did you use a actual program or did you just copy all your files through explorer to the D: drive.

Well if you have Hidden Files and Folders enabled and just went Ctrl+A then you would have copied those files. Anyway Windows protects those folders so it wont let you delete them nor will it let you view them, although I am able to view Recycle on my machine.
