Norton 2009 custom scan turns not responding on STOP

Hey i installed Norton AV 2009 90days trial on my PC went for a removable disk scan but when it started takin long i cancelled but it did not respond to my command n i had to restart...
any way to check whats happenin..
i got Kaspersky one year license but thought to give norton a try.....
n seriously it takes only 40-50Mb of memory ok response tme is a little delayed..

Do you have Kaspersky and Norton installed?

That's usual and takes some time to abort the scan in some cases but not always

I have installed only Norton i know what can 2 antivirus do when installed together my friend had done once....



Also norton service gave an error yesterday during system start up i send it to micrisoft...

Norton is still buggy... found 4 errors till today
Days of subscription remaining 89/90...hahaha

It also happened to me before :

the reason having problem with it coz the time I installed NAV ( I deactivate KAV protection and start-up mode or simply means not uninstalling KAV ) At first 10 days it works fine but later that day - the next boot I got the errors and reinstalled NAV again

Sometimes when scanning flash device or external drives it takes longer time to finished esp.if it's infected by malware.

when the scanner starts it says initalising right so when it ends it has to wait some time right so be patient for sometime. ( i hope u were not born on the way to the hospital)

I waited for 5 minutes what do i do wait till i get old
