    Lol, the GUI looks exactly like Avira's. It's all the same..roflmao. Wondering why Avira won't sue for copyright infringement.

    They're partners - Lavasoft is using the Avira Antivirus technology

    So what's the point in having your own antivirus that uses the same engine AND GUI ?

    Yea but still,... Using Avira's AV engine, and the GUI, and marketing it as their own? Sounds a little excessive to me. Might consider it when the AV Comparative's results are out.

    I've always loved Lavasoft. their Ad-Aware program is great against Trojans

    New product line from Lavasoft by integrating Avira tech.for sure there will be a good detection capability due to the use of Avira engine.No need for Av.Comparatives test since the engine is the same as Avira.The only minor changes is that Lavasoft added its spywares signatures to Avira 1,500,000 signatures and having a hybrid engine = minor GUI design.
