    My suggestions:

    1. Avira Antivir Personal

    2. Spybot S&D

    3. Zone Alarm Pro or Comodo Firewall or Windows Firewall

Free antispyware with real time protection limits a lot. MBAM and SuperAntispyware both offer only on-demand protection on their free versions, unless you use cracks.

    1. Avira has command line scanning, but I'm not sure whether it's for the free or paid version.

    2. Spybot S&D has TeaTimer service which has realtime protection

    3. Comodo, imho.

    2. I found Windows Defender has realtime protection . how it is ?

Allright then. Why do you want command line scanner option anyway? I just use batch files to run my scans and they work fine. Windows Defender is fine. But I'd prefer other 3rd party tools. IMHO and from my past experiences, running Avira Personal and Windows Firewall is safe enough if you surf and download safe. Or why not just use cracks?

    1. I need command line scaner to use this http://blog.didierstevens.com/programs/usbvirusscan/.

    2. Why u prefer 3rd party tools in place of free Microsoft Windows defender + real time protection.

    3. Is windows inbuilt firewall is enough (no need of Comodo) ?

    1. Try out Rising AntiVirus. Real-time protection, etc., probably has command line scanning.

    2. Spybot - Search & Destroy | The reason I prefer third party tools instead of Microsoft Windows Defender is the reliability. Windows Defender is more than likely not reliable, as Microsoft is not in the security business, only the software business.

    3. The built-in Windows firewall should be fine for some things, but Comodo is a much better application as it blocks out more nasties and monitors your registry and other sensitive things for suspicious things. If you need some help considering a firewall, see this. http://www.matousec.com/

Well then. As I said, I'd recommend all that I posted above per se your spesifications; free yet has features akin to a paid version. The best way is to try and see which fits your requirements best.

On my PC, I'm running Avira (freeware), MBAM (shareware), Threatfire (freeware) and Comodo Firewall (freeware), with most real time protection scanning turned off. Or you can just use 30 day KIS trials if that floats your boat.

Hold on there xje. The Avira AntiVir Personal has real-time scanning? I thought it was only real-time protection.
