How to Enable/Disable Autorun in Removable Media
Hi
1) Go to Start-> Run , then type REGEDIT and press enter to open registry editor.
2) To Modify these Registry Settings, Use Regedit and navigate to the following Key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3) Here you will find a key named "NoDriveTypeAutoRun" then double click it.
4) The default value for the setting is 95 0 0 0 (for disable). Change the first byte to 91 to enable autotrun. Restart the computer to make the new setting take effect.

I can confirm that value 91 hexadecimal enables autorun in vista.

Why would I want to go through all the trouble when I can get these stuff to do the disabling for me? Registry editing is dangerous for those who don't know about them like me. I rather download Panda USB Vaccine as pointed out by Raymond here. http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/...nst-usb-virus/
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

Well this manual method is also handy if for some reason you want to enable back autorun in removable media. Panda USB VAccine is commonly used for antivirus purpose. The manual method is a general use.

Actually, the Vaccine works for general use too Ha.
It's just labeled by an antivirus but it works just as well as your registry hack here.
