How To Run an Application When Explorer.exe Starts
Hi
Some of us would like to integrate some applications in order to run it when Explorer.exe start to run. So here is what I found.
1) Goto Start->Run, type regedit and press enter to open Registry Editor.
2) Then goto the following key ---
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
3) Then at the right side press right mouse button and create a new "String Value". Name it Shell.
4) Double click it to modify. Then type the following in the text field ---
explorer.exe c:\your_folder\your_application.exe
5) Now close all applciation and reboot your PC and test it.

This can be dangerous if someone puts in malware, but to an extent, this can also help us prevent it.
pacman -Syyu life not found in sync db

Say you wanted to run a scan of C: right when you opened Computer. You could do that.
Personally, I see no use to it but if anyone does, perhaps you should pitch in

well in this way is possible to start applications when they do not start when windows boot, because the explorer did not integrate them as starting applications. Yes as they said above some can program a malware to make it start when windows boot. Dangerous it is!
