LOL, I have seen this kind of videos on youtube before...way long time ago but i have never personally tried it...do you really think it works??
Is there any other way I can boost my wireless signal strength without doing all that Homemade Parabolic Reflector thingy?...I have never been good when it comes to DIY stuffs...
I heard of a thing called wireless range extender...what is it actually?? Can anyone tell me...and please don't point me to Google...I have already done that but would like someone in this forum to explain it to me...Thnx
i did this today.
i used 3 foils and it works.
boosting my wirless speed by 10kb/s for me
There are three walls (including a concrete block wall) between my PC and the router. I think I just might give it a try. If it doesn't help, I can always reuse the tin foil on my next bar-b-que project!
The one I had made used to slide down over the antenna.I used to use it to block signal from going out of the front of my house.
im using netgear and it doesnt have an antena.i just put the foil around the blue flashing thing lol
check out this site for more easy made home antennas!
I got one of these and have eliminated all my wifi problems. I had so much interference from my neighbours wifi that it was impossible to use the wifi.

Probably it is just a temporarily problem,
maybe this could help.... this is some stuff that I have downloaded from freeantennas.com
Ez-12 Parabolic Reflector Template
1. Download Template
2. Open in MS Paint and resize as desired. Ensure that you keep the square on the diagram square.
3. Print image on business card stock or acetate (document protector).
4. Cut it out and open the six slots with sissors or an X-Acto knife.
5. Glue tin foil to the back side of the reflector surface
6. Assemble by placing the six tabs in the six slots.
Tell a friend about this idea.
Note: If printed at the download size you will see about 9 dBi of gain. If you double the size of the image before you print it you will see about 12 dBi of gain. If you place two reflectors on an AP with two antennas you will see an additional increase in performance.
