Sidebar For XP Like In Vista or 7!

If you are a XP user, and do not wish to switch to Windows 7, you can still get the sidebar like those of Vista and 7.

    1. Install Alky For Applications.
    2. Install Windows_Sidebar_Installer.exe
    3. Install Gadget Extractor

    Info about the softwares
    -------------------------------

Alky For Applications: Alky makes it possible to open software
That is created for Windows Vista.
    Just like the Sidebar.

Windows_Sidebar_Installer: This is the Windows Sidebar installer.

Gadget Extractor: Gadget Extractor makes it possible to add new gadgets
to your Sidebar, Just open Gadget files with Gadget Extractor.
And Gadget Extractor adds the gadget to your Sidebar Gadget List.

    Enjoy!
The sidebar is the real actula Windows Vista sidebar.

The Sidebar requires roughly 20 Megabytes of computer memory when displaying the gadgets.

I have used this before Well, if you want to make XP look like Vista, it sure is a good beginning....I did it before but here's my warning for you guys...in the midst of making XP to look like Vista/Windows 7, you will be 'swapping' performance for looks...

Expect more of your system resources to be used...if you are running a high-end PC, well go ahead but if your PC is low on RAM, I suggest forget the idea.

I have to disable the Sidebar in my vista machine. 'Cause it's useless. It's not needed at all.
    Thanks for sharing anyway.
