Hide & Remove The IE Search Box Via Group Policy Editor

1.) Run Local Group Policy Editor "GPEdit.msc"
2.) Navigate to Local Computer Policy -> User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer.
3.) In the settings list of the right pane, locate and double click on "Prevent Internet Explorer search box from displaying option
and set its value to "Enabled"
    4.) Then click OK
5.) You may now then proceed to close and there after doing so reopen your IE browser
6.) If you desire at a later date to re-enable and or re-display the search box feature, you may set it's value back as it was originally to "Not Configured or Disabled"
