Yes it should do.
The only problem with online HJT analysis is if they give you a false detection and you then remove it
well say no more.
Always have it checked by a exper;t here is just one site that does check them for free,

Me, offended? Not at all.
I've learned a bit from this thread, it's nice to sit back and learn sometimes.
Because I know the basics of a HijackThis log, and because I've run it so often, I know what to expect for some of the processes. Like I've said:
HijackThis.de is what I use when I sometimes don't know a process or two.
It can and has lead to mistakes in the past. One has to be careful when running any logs, and EvilFantasy and Cyfer (no clue how to spell his username, the one with the castle LOL!) are our malware removal experts. Fletch, I'll start recommending people to post the logs it provides and it should be nice to see something that will help me learn.
Remember kiddies, we're here to learn. Some of us have a background in virus removal, some of us know a sh*tload on Linux. Some of us are programmers, some of us are web designers. And some of us know nothing.
So long as I'm learning something new, it is impossible to be upset, even if it goes against the knowledge I know or grew up knowing. Look at the Linux subforum. What's the most commonly recommended Linux distro down there? Mint. What did I start with? Ubuntu. Yes there are minor differences between them but I stand by my old friend, Ubuntu. If people want a recommendation from me, even if they're new to Linux, it's Ubuntu. It's because it's hard to break (unless you have removed the kernel, but that's your own fault LOL) and because it introduces a lot of the basic concepts of other Linux distros. Mint holds your hand the entire way, and refuses to help you learn. Adding codecs to GStreamer, configuring some things though Bash... I believe it helps you learn the world of Linux faster. And in Mint, these are pre-configured.

Computer technology is growing all the time but unfortunately this also means viruses etc grow with it,
HJT was very good but most expert sites now use DDS

Nah, I'm no expert at HJT logs, so to name Raymond.cc as a good spot would have made me chuckle.
lol
