Some really nice photoshop hints

Being a bit of a scener, or at least, someone who follows the scene (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demoscene) I know a few people who are really great at digital art from scratch. Probably the best digital artist in the scene has posted a few simple tutorials on his website on how to make really great looking 3D text in minutes.

His name is alien^pdx, and he's incredible. I thought I'd post a link up to some of his stuff for anyone who enjoys photoshop. His techniques work in any advanced photo-editor as well. I use them in Fireworks all the time.
