Google Chrome - Incognito Window
Many people are not aware of the incognito feature in Google Chrome. The Incognito mode of Google Chrome browser allows you to browse the Internet without leaving any tracing of your browsing history on the computer – no URLs you visited are recorded, cookies and cache are deleted once the browser is closed. Sounds Good ??
Now Normally to start incognito mode you have to start the browser, go to customize and control and select new incognito window or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + N. but if you want to start incognito from a shortcut, here is a cool way.....
1) Create copy of Google Chrome Shortcut on your desktop
2) Rename the new Chrome shortcut to differentiate it.
3) Right click on the Incognito mode short cut and select Properties
4) Navigate to Target textbox and append -incognito the the existing command text(note that there should be at least one space between chrome.exe & -incognito) and save it.
There you are done.

Browsing in incognito mode only keeps Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you've visited. The websites you visit may still have records of your visit. Any files saved to your computer will still remain on your computer.
For example, if you sign into your Google Account on http://www.google.com while in incognito mode, your subsequent web searches are recorded in your Google Web History. In this case, to prevent your searches from being stored in your Google Account, you'll need to pause your Google Web History tracking.
If nothing else works, open command prompt and type 'del C:\Windows'

nice guide. Also in Win7 Right clicking on the icon in taskbar gives the option to open incognito mode, but for every other version of windows your instructions can be followed.

@noaccount : I tried and failed to run extensions in incognito mode........some do work halfway but none work completely (as far as i know).
Quote 1 : You can't enable extensions in Incognito mode - Its a Feature !!
Quote 2 : I guess that makes sense since some extensions might store information about your browsing. For example, if you allowed NoScript to run on a web page, it might remember that choice unless you select the temporary option.
