How to run any/most OS on Windows XP+ to run specific applications

    Hey guys!

The title seems self explanatory enough so... Let's get started!

    What you will need:
    • A Computer with Windows XP or higher
    • Your desired Operating System ISO FILE

Once you have those things you need a software that allows "Virtualization"
A free one called VirtualBox can be found HERE
A shareware one called VMWare Wokrstationcan be found HERE

Here's a tutorial from Raymond's blog to help you setup your virtualization software AND your ISO file so it can be read in the 'virtual space'

If you happen to choose VMWare Workstation follow the steps below...

    Open up VMWare Workstation
Go to your new Virtual Machine
    Click "edit virtual machine settings"

Lastly: Turn ON the Virtual Machine to begin the OS installation process

    -NCU
Here to prevail on your failures.

not very (any really) detailed if you wanna help someone... this is not a problem except you have COMPETITION
& by the way you probably DONT need VMWare Wokrstation so try VMWare Player 3.x, they use same base code FYI
for me Virtual Box is all i need.

    That's why I put "any/most"
I picked VMWare Workstation since it's the one I know that does "virtualization"
    Thanks for the heads up

Are there any available virtual machines that can run 64-bit OSs?
VirtualBox and VMWare don't seem to run 64-bit; unless I've missed a setting...

If I'm right VMWare needs your motherboard to support virualization in order to work...and VirtualBox not...

    Screw Google! Ask me!
