Send files to Recycle Bin via Command Line
When you delete a file from command prompt using del command it deletes the file directly without moving it to recycle bin. To move files to recycle bin.
1. Download this file.

2. Unzip and copy the exe file to C:\Windows\System32 folder.
3. Now use the command sike instead of del. It will ask for confirmation. Press Enter.
So, for a file a.txt
sike a.txt will move that to recycle bin
del a.txt will delete that permanently.

*nix Technical Support
My only problem with this is the fact that no doubt this is meant to help write bat files too... but what if the computer you're using doesn't have this installed? And you have limited rights, so you can't drop it in system32?
Eh, perhaps I'm getting doubtful in some softwares these days.

I set up my Recycle Bin so that all files and folders are deleted automatically, without being sent to it. It can be done by right clicking on the Recycle Bin icon and opening up "properties", then selecting "Don't move to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted".
