Youtube is now supporting HD video format in many videos as well this is much clear, sharper than the normal quality which is by default for any youtube video. Now It is possible to watch the video in HD format if it is available. To make it possible browser extension and script are needed.

For Google Chrome the extension is called Auto HD. It will play automatically youtube HD video in Chrome. For Firefox install the Greasemonkey to run Userscripts then install the Youtube Ultimate HD script.
For best performance it is best to install in firefox and chrome.You are done enjoy video in HD format.
