How to upgrade Kaspersky IS to V 2011

If you are using Kaspersky Internet Security Suite 2010 click your kaspersy task bar icon to bring it up on the desktop. Along the bottom click "Support". This will take you to the Kaspersky web site. There you will be able upgrade your 2010 version to the new 2011 version for FREE.
Once you have installed the 2011 version there will be a large icon on the desktop instead of the usual task bar icon where you can make any setting adjustments.

Kaspersky upgrades always were free, you just need a valid and working license...

From last version (K2010)onward, Kaspersky can be installed on top of the old version & automatically keep & transfer all setups & key to the new version.

hello folks i would advise not to upgrade from version 2010 to 2011 if you use utorrent you will encounter the "Error: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open." error if you upgrade. This error stops your download, i downgraded my netbook i leave on to download torrents to 2010 to fix this.
