    Command to program error

Hello everyone. Just want to share. If moderators think this is useless, please fell free to delete.
Actually I want to ask this, but I prefer to googling first.
Since my problem in treating web-based rougeware has been solved, now I have another strange situation here. I don't know if this is related with that problem which still left behind or not.
The two main problems I'm having are:
    1. Whenever I go to yahoo messenger. After login there will be a pop ups about news, email, etc. If I click one of the news, my FF will directly opened (FF my default browser) and annoying error show up. But the contain of the link is appear in the browser.

    2. Same problem happened in my Windows Live Mail too. The mail system works fine, but if i click a link, the error show up.

The error itself says "there was a problem sending the command to the program."

It has happened a few times and i haven't really taken much notice before as it didn't bother me. But its really starting to bug me because of my emails.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
After googling, I found the answer. This error related to file association.
The first answer I got from Fix or restore .exe .lnk and the second from How to Associate a File Type

    Now the problem solved

I don't know where I should post this. If moderator think this section isn't a right place please move to the right section.

    Thank you.

Still useful information KaYaN as people often browse forums for solutions to problems, and this will help them solve the problem faster as you have suppled the links

I'm going to move this to Tutorials, since it's better suited there. But thanks for the heads up... I've been having this error on my parent's PC, I'm not allowed anywhere near it (after installing Puppy Linux, I don't blame them) but if I give this to my dad, he will run it.

Thanks KaYaN. I think this is very useful.
