    Saves memory usage in Firefox at the time Minimize

    Type: about: config in the address bar, then Click the button I'll be careful, I promise.

    Right-click and then select:

    New -> Boolean

    Then type:

    config.trim_on_minimize and click OK

    Select an option to True in the dialog box from config.trim_on_minimize boolean value. then click OK

    Restart Firefox

    I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

    Try MemoryFox add-on...it comes from the same person who created AFOM add-on (which no longer works on the latest release) which I was fond of last time. Unfortunately, this works on Windows only since it runs an executable named AFOM.exe from your firefox profile folder.
