    Thanks -NCU i remember something like that when vista was launched and the tutorial followed, although im not sure i know anyone that uses ready boost to be honest, but the trick worked in the past but usb drives are much better these days and cheaper...

    With USB 3.0 coming into the market, maybe that will help to make USB drives more efficient.

    Looks like USB 3.0 at the moment is a bit on the slow side for releases Bear, as i was hoping to see alot more as i like the idea of fast transfer speeds and with SSD's there is no need for ready boost...

    Very true Jay, and one would also need a MB that supports USB 3.0, so installing an SSD might just possbily be more cost effective.
