Bypass "Install Update and Shut down" when shutting down Windows 7

A simple tutorial on bypassing the installation of updates when shutting down Windows 7.

Step 1

Press:

Windows Key + D

simultaneously.

OR

Go to desktop by click the "Show Desktop" button at the bottom right corner of the screen. (Beside the time/clock).

Step 2

On the desktop...
Press:

ALT + F4

simultaneously.
A dialog box will appear. It should like the following:

Step 3

Click on the drop down box and choose "Shut down" NOT "Install Updates and Shut down".
