Kali Linux is one of the top linux distributions focused on Security and Penetration Testing.
    ...Penetration Testing? :mooning:
:stop: Not as bad as it sounds.

It's derivated from BackTrack, the other top-notch Linux Penetration Testing Distribution.
One of the new addditions to Kali Linux is the Nuke Patch for Emergency Self Destruction of encrypted drives. It will add a boot password you can use to destroy, rather than decrypt, the data on the drive.

Kali Linux 1.0.8 Released with EFI Boot Support

This new feature simplifies getting Kali installed and running on more recent hardware which requires EFI as well as various Apple Macbooks Air and Retina models. Besides the addition of EFI support, there is a whole array of tool updates and fixes that have accumulated over the past couple of months.

As usual, you don’t need to re-download Kali if you’ve got it installed, and apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade should do the job.
