This is about System Snapshot - Roll Windows back in time to a healthy state. Not backup. Thanks.
MS Windows System Restore
You can try "SysRestore - Free", the free version can make only 10 snapshots, but PLEASE make a system backup before testing this or any other similar software.
I have to agree with grr. Windows backup and restore is as good any and in my experience, the Windows 7 version is better than XP.
There's Comodo Time Machine but install at your own risk.
I use Keriver Image or One Click Restore. Both are fast and lightweight.
O&O Diskimage 5 Professional Edition, Build 5.6.18 is free and good.
This is not just the latest version (current is 188.8.131.52), but for free and decent. This is O&O Diskimage 5 Professional Edition, Build 5.6.18.
I used it in the past myself but now I use the latest and also the Spotmau (Wondershare) PowerSuite Gold 2012 (these are not free).
:icon11::icon11: You can download O&O website (archives) and you can register on these pages: select nr 1 | select nr 2 | select nr 3.
i got also O&O Diskimage 5 Professional Edition but i'm not comfortable using it because it require the almost 1gig windows installation kit. compare to other product that it is not bloated.
I have Easeus Todo Backup Workstation and along with doing system images and partition backups, it will also do system restores.
